From the present context of Bangladesh, market and product diversion become extremly important as the high labor intensive export basket become very concentrated on few markets. About 90% of our export, of which about 75% is ready made garments, goes to the USA and to the EU countries. The high dependence of the entire export basket to few labor based manufacturing sectors fetch the necessity to divesify the basket with new products to new destinations.

The Chamber conducts action based research to cater the need of the members so that guideline can be provided whenever necessary. The findings of the studies are shared with the private sector and the public sector time to time.
