MCCI Organizes Training Workshop on Customs Act, 2023
On 26 May 2024, the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) and Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka (North) jointly organized a training workshop on the background, features, requirements, and details of the new Customs Act, 2023 at MCCI Gulshan office. Mr. Razvee Ahmed, Joint Commissioner, Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka (North) graced the event as the Chief Guest. The keynote presentation was delivered by Mr. Md. Nurul Basir, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka (North). MCCI Director Mr. Hasan Mahmood, FCA, delivered the welcome remarks. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and C.E.O. MCCI, moderated the event. The training workshop was attended by representatives from MCCI member firms and the business community.
