Entry fee for any potential member organization of any type – Tk 50,000/- (once).

The annual subscriptions payable for each class of members are as follows:

a) Ordinary members

b) Associate members

Tk 40,000/-

Tk 30,000/-

The Board of Directors may, from time to time, increase or decrease the above-mentioned amount of subscription payable by each class of members.

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) successfully emerged as a prestigious organization mainly for two reasons. First, because of its nature of activities and dedicated services to the member organizations. Second, because of its research-based contribution in the policy formulation process of the Government. MCCI expresses impartial views on policy and strategic issues upholding national interest as a priority.

MCCI is a non-profit organization with an almost-fixed income for running its day-to-day operations and research related activities. The regular routine income sources include membership subscriptions, members’ contributions, and rental income from its building. MCCI is one of the rare trade organizations (Chamber of Commerce) in the country which pays income tax and submits tax returns on a regular basis.

The Chamber has various sizes of meeting/conference venues and facilities in its Motijheel and Gulshan offices. Usually, the Chamber meeting venues are used for the meetings, seminars, and other events organized by the Chamber. However, the Seminar Hall is open for use by both members and non-member organizations on a very limited scale with applicable fees. The Chamber offers state-of-the-art facilities for various types of official events. Under the service, clients can reserve the Chamber Seminar Hall for various events.

Interested persons may contact the Chamber Secretariat for related information during business hours. Any individual representing an eligible Ordinary member or Associate member can seek election to the Chamber’s Board of Directors as per the Chamber's Election Rules.

Business promotion could be carried out through business networking through various meetings / seminars / workshops and other related events/activities organized by the Chamber at different times independently or in joint collaboration.

Promotional campaign of businesses could be arranged through publishing advertisements in the chamber publications which are circulated amongst the chamber member organizations different ministries, departments and other related organizations. Besides, business seminars, B2B meetings and other dissemination sessions and focus group discussions can be organized on a case-by-case basis.

MCCI publishes various important reports on a regular basis. Publications and reports published by the MCCI could be obtained from the Chamber Secretariat during business hours. Besides, related chamber publications are also available at the MCCI website.

The Chamber observes working hours from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday except in the month of Ramadan when it is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. However, the Chamber also takes into account flexible working hours for its officials and employees depending on the need and urgency.

For any official and business purpose, anyone can contact the MCCI Secretariat at Chamber Building, 122-124, Motijheel C. A., Dhaka-1000. All the secretarial and business services are provided from this office during business hours.
