The Certificate of Origin section of MCCI is located at Chamber Building, 122-124, Motijheel C. A., Dhaka-1000. CoO Section in the Chamber is responsible for issuance, amendment and verification of various types of certificates like Certificate of Origin (CoO).
MCCI’s CoO section is operational during business hours on all working days. However, special arrangements have also been made for issuance of CoO on weekends i.e., on Saturdays.
Yes, MCCI started the online issuance of Certificate of Origin (CoO) from September 18, 2023. After successful registration, any company can apply for CoO and other related services including document attestations by paying the prescribed fees through digital payment system (online bank transfers/credit card/mobile financial services). Login to https://coo.mccibd.org to register and avail the online services.
For the newly enrolled members, entrance and membership fees become due at the time of enlistment as a member. For other regular members of MCCI, membership subscription becomes due and payable on the first day of January every year.
Any member or associate member may withdraw its membership from the Chamber by giving two calendar months’ notice in writing to the Secretary-General & CEO and upon the expiration of the notice period such member shall cease to be a member or associate member.
However, any dues payable must be cleared before withdrawing from membership including membership fees for the current year (if not paid).
