MCCI Host Focus Group Discussion on Bangladesh PMI with FCDO Support
Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), in collaboration with the Policy Exchange of Bangladesh (PEB), and with the support of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the “Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) of Bangladesh” on 07 December 2024 at its Gulshan office. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO, MCCI, offered the welcome remarks and moderated the discussion. Mr. Hasnat Alam, Senior Manager, Market & Policy Advisory, Policy Exchange Bangladesh, presented an in-depth overview of the Bangladesh PMI. Following the presentation, an open discussion ensued, where the participants, who are the key respondents providing valuable insights for the PMI report, shared their perspectives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from MCCI, followed by a call to lunch.
