MCCI Hosts Delegation from Bangladesh Competition Commission
On 21 December 2025, the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), hosted a delegation from the Bangladesh Competition Commission at its Gulshan office. Chaired by the MCCI President, Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, a discussion session titled “The Competition Act, 2012 and Creating Awareness of the Activities of the Bangladesh Competition Commission” took place. The session aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the Competition Act, 2012, and provide insights into the mandate, functions, and ongoing activities of the Bangladesh Competition Commission. The visiting delegation was headed by Mr. A. H. M. Ahsan, Chairperson, Bangladesh Competition Commission. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO, and representatives from MCCI member firms were also present during the event.
