MCCI Hosts FGD on Inclusive Reform with Key Stakeholders

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), in collaboration with Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on 03 July 2025, at its Gulshan office. The MCCI President Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, the Senior Vice-President Mr. Habibullah N. Karim, the BEI President Ambassador M. Humayun Kabir (Retd.), and representatives from MCCI member firms were present. The MCCI President delivered the introductory remarks. The BEI President moderated the discussion. The objective of the discussion was to incorporate the views and insights of key stakeholders into the ongoing work of the National Consensus Commission, chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Adviser. The Commission was currently working to foster inclusive reform by integrating diverse perspectives, including those of the business community. During the session, participants shared their opinions on building a stakeholder-aligned and sustainable reform process envisioned to go beyond political narratives.
