Tanvir Ahmed is a dynamic business leader and multi-sector entrepreneur from Bangladesh, currently serving as the Managing Director of Sheltech Group, Envoy Legacy, Envoy Textiles Limited, and Green Textile Limited. With a proven track record in steering diversified conglomerates across real estate, ready-made garments and textiles, ceramics, aviation, agro-processing, hospitality, education, and digital media, he has emerged as a prominent figure shaping Bangladesh’s private sector transformation.
Mr. Ahmed holds an MBA from Cardiff University and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Kingston University, London, further enhanced by a diploma from LSE Summer School. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Capstone Course 2025 at the National Defence College (NDC)—an elite program that develops strategic leadership capacity and national security awareness among senior professionals. He is also the youngest-ever recipient of Bangladesh’s CIP (Commercially Important Person) recognition, an honor he has held since 2014. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding Envoy Textiles Limited to become the world’s first LEED Platinum-certified denim mill, underscoring his commitment to sustainability and innovation.

He has been honored with numerous national and international awards, including ‘Managing Director of the Year’ at the C-Suite Awards 2023, the British Council’s UK Alumni Award (Bangladesh Finalist), and JCI’s Outstanding Young Person Award for entrepreneurial excellence.
Beyond business, Mr. Ahmed is deeply engaged in humanitarian efforts—supporting healthcare initiatives, education for underprivileged children, and community development through NGOs and his own charitable foundation. He also serves as a Trustee of Emerald International School in Dhaka.
