MCCI Holds Roundtable Discussion on Advancing Bangladesh’s Semiconductor Industry
The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) organized a roundtable discussion on “Advancing Bangladesh’s Semiconductor Industry” on 25 October 2025 at its Gulshan office. The event started with Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, President, MCCI, delivering the welcome remarks. Later, Dr. M. Rokonuzzaman, Professor, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, NSU, presented an overview of the MCCI Semiconductor Roadmap. This was followed by the roundtable discussion moderated by Dr. Arif Dowla, Convenor of the MCCI Semiconductor Team. The discussion ended with a vote of thanks from Mr. Habibullah N. Karim, Senior Vice-President, MCCI. The event was attended by academics, representatives from the semiconductor industry, and officials from MCCI. The event was moderated by Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO, MCCI.
