Meeting with the World Bank on the Proposed Private Sector Development for Jobs Project
A World Bank delegation visited the MCCI’s Gulshan Office on 04 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to seek the Chamber’s views on the proposed Private Sector Development for Jobs Project in Bangladesh. The meeting was attended by MCCI President Mr. Kamran T. Rahman; Senior Vice-President Mr. Habibullah N. Karim; Board Members Mr. Golam Mainuddin and Mr. Syed Tareque Md. Ali; and Secretary-General & CEO Mr. Farooq Ahmed.
The World Bank delegation comprised Mr. Magueye Dia, Senior Private Sector Specialist; Mr. Marc Tobias Schiffbauer, Lead Economist; Ms. Sophie Dong, Financial Sector Specialist; and Ms. Marziana Mahfuz Nandita, Private Sector Specialist.
