MCCI Holds Discussion on Bangladesh PMI and Future Sustainability
The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), in partnership with Policy Exchange Bangladesh (PEB), hosted a discussion session on the Bangladesh Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) on 31 August 2026 at its Gulshan office. As the FCDO-supported project was nearing completion, the event focused on sharing PMI’s progress among stakeholders. The session highlighted achievements, discussed methodology and significance, and explored institutional transition, future sustainability, and the way forward. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO, MCCI, moderated the session.
