MCCI Organizes Discussion Session on Bangladesh PMI with Development Partners and Commercial Counsellors
The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), in collaboration with Policy Exchange Bangladesh (PEB), organized a discussion session on 20 August 2026 at its Gulshan office. The session brought together development partners, commercial counsellors, and commercial attachés from embassies and high commissions to familiarize them with the Bangladesh Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI). MCCI Director Mr. Ardashir Kabir delivered the welcome remarks. A brief presentation on the PMI by PEB set the stage for an engaging open discussion. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from MCCI. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO of MCCI, moderated the session.
