MCCI Launches Policy Publication “Reviving Private Sector-Led Economic Growth: Critical Issues and Priorities Facing the New Government in Bangladesh
On 9 March 2026, the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) launched the policy publication “Reviving Private Sector-Led Economic Growth: Critical Issues and Priorities Facing the New Government in Bangladesh” in a formal ceremony at its Gulshan office. Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, Executive Chairman, PPRC, and Chairperson, BRAC, graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Dewan Hanif Mahmud, Editor, the Daily Bonik Barta, attended as the Special Guest. MCCI President Mr. Kamran T. Rahman offered the welcome remarks, while Dr. M. Masrur Reaz, Chairperson and CEO, Policy Exchange Bangladesh, delivered a presentation on the major insights from the publication. The event ended with a vote of thanks from the MCCI.
