MCCI Congratulates the Government on the Inauguration of the Country’s First Metro Rail
The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) congratulates the Government of Bangladesh on the grand opening of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line-6, Bangladesh’s first metro rail.
The 11.73-kilometer-long section, which connects Uttara to Agargaon (1st Phase), is a major milestone towards ensuring hassle-free commuting in Dhaka. Gradually, other areas of the capital will also be connected via metro rail. This is a testament to the Government’s continued commitment to improving connectivity across the country.
Through the opening of this line, the country has stepped into the modern age of city mass transport system under the dynamic leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, MP. MCCI is proud and thrilled to witness this glorious achievement.
