MCCI Hosts Discussion with the Visiting METI Officials
MCCI hosted a discussion with the visiting delegation of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan, at its Gulshan office on 16 February 2023. The purpose of the meeting was to explore trade opportunities between Bangladesh and Japan. Mr. Nakagawa Kazutaka, FTA Facilitator, Economic Partnership Division, Trade Policy Bureau, and Mr. Suzuki Hiroshi, Assistant Director, Economic Partnership Division, Trade Policy Bureau, represented METI during the discussion. Members of the MCCI Board of Directors who were present during the discussion were: President Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, Senior Vice-President Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, Vice-President Mr. Habibullah N. Karim, and Director Mr. Syed Tareque Md. Ali.
