MCCI Organizes B2B Meeting and Hosts Dinner in Honor of the Visiting Turkish Business Delegation
Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) organized a B2B meeting and hosted a dinner at its Gulshan office in honor of the visiting Turkish Business Delegation (part of Turkey-Bangladesh Business Council) on Monday, 29 November 2021. Led by the MCCI President, Ms. Nihad Kabir, the MCCI member representatives discussed potential bilateral trade between the two nations with the visiting delegation. Ms. Hülya Gedik, the Chairperson of the Turkey-Bangladesh Business Council, led the Turkish Business Delegation.
In her welcome address, the MCCI President praised Turkey’s economy and acknowledged that growing bilateral trade could benefit both the nations, especially in a post-COVID-19 world. She also identified many sectors where trade and investment could flourish between the two countries.
The official meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the MCCI Vice-President, Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, followed by the presentation of a crest by the MCCI President to the Turkish Delegation leader. Representatives from MCCI member firms attended the meeting and the dinner.
