Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) Congratulates Mr. Golam Mainuddin, Former Vice President of MCCI, on Winning “The Bangladesh Lifetime Award” and Recognizes the Emergence of “The Late Latifur Rahman Naturenomics Award.”

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka, conveys its heartiest congratulations to Mr. Golam Mainuddin on winning “The Bangladesh Lifetime Award” at the Balipara Foundation Award ceremony for founding the largest private-sector-driven afforestation project with Bonayan Bangladesh. Mr. Mainuddin is a Member of the Board of Directors of MCCI. He was also the Vice President of MCCI from 2017-2019. Currently, he is the Chairman of the British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited.

MCCI also recognizes the emergence of “The Late Latifur Rahman Naturenomics Award,” which has been won by Mr. Monirul H. Khan, Professor of Zoology at Jahangirnagar University. “The Late Latifur Rahman Naturenomics Award” was given in honor of Late Mr. Latifur Rahman, a key advocate of ethical business practices in Bangladesh who served as the President of MCCI for many years and was also the founding Chairman of Transcom Group.
