The Ambassador of the EU Delegation to Bangladesh visits MCCI’s Gulshan Office
On 16 February 2022, H.E. Mr. Charles Whiteley, the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Bangladesh, visited the Gulshan office of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI). Led by its President Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, the members of the MCCI’s Board of Directors discussed various bilateral issues with the Ambassador, including sustainable LDC-graduation, Bangladesh’s business climate, and the EU’s assistance with those. They also discussed possible collaborations between the EU and Bangladesh in the areas of renewable energy, skills development, up-skilling, re-skilling, and special programs for high-tech jobs.
