MCCI Organizes Roundtable on Bangladesh’s Power and Energy Challenge
The Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), in partnership with Policy Exchange Bangladesh (PEB), arranged a focused policy dialogue titled “Bangladesh’s Power and Energy Challenge: Securing Reliable Infrastructure for Better Business Climate” at its Gulshan office on 30 August 2026. Aimed at addressing systemic gaps in the sector, the roundtable sought to identify actionable reforms and chart a coordinated path toward strengthening Bangladesh’s energy infrastructure for a better business climate. The session, moderated by Dr. M. Masrur Reaz, Chairman and CEO, PEB, brought together government officials, financial sector leaders, business associations, development partners, and experts to discuss the challenges and chart a way forward.
